The big fifteen!!!!!!

So I'm turning fifteen today, so many years have pasted that never seemed that they would come when I was younger. And I'm in a place were I never thought I would be when I thought of my fifteenth birthday a couple years ago. Fifteen years, many memory's, let's see if I can pull some up.

Being three or four, living in my great, great grandmothers house. Having my own bedroom. Seth and Jonathan sharing one. Momma having Emily, and me insisting that I was the first of the kids to see her, and of corse big brother Seth letting me know even faster that he had been up way earlier and had been the first. So I changed it to I was the first of the kids to hold her.

I remember playing hide and seek in the back yard, which had almost nothing to hide behind. I remember when Seth and Jonathan would be it and I was the only person they had to get.

I remember playing football with daddy, Seth, and Jonathan.

I remember going put side into the garden and eating all the tomatoes, before mom or dad saw them red.

I remember being the flower girl for my aunts wedding. And that the only part I remember about the wedding was trying to put my arm through my big brothers arm as we walked down to the alter. (He was the ring barer.)

I remember pawpaw saying he was going to sell the house and that we had a short time to get out of it. And having no were to go. I remember friends needing some one to house sit while they found a buyer for it. We did it.

I remember momma being pregnant with Richard. And us walking up and down those stairs ten times a day.

I remember getting my first shower there, and how it was cold water three fourths of the time.

I remember when we drove to our new house. And how me, Jonathan, Emily, and maybe Seth were with mom and how we didn't have the key to the house and it was the end of summer and very hot. And looking under bricks around the porch and finding a spare key.

I remember shortly after moving in momma having Richard.

I remember how our friends gave us a dozen eggs, to hatch. And how six did and out of those six five were male. And trading four of our males for females. And then waiting for what seemed for ever, what was just six months for the females to start laying eggs.

As time went by we raised meat chickens and dad took them to some one who had a set up for killing them. And dad and Seth learning how to kill chickens.

And then getting more egg laying chickens and hatching our own and getting a nice big flock of around hundred, and how half of them were males. And killing the males (Dad taught me how to kill them.) when they got the right age. And later trying to eat six month old rosters. In the end after eating two and mom refusing to cook another tuff roster making them all in to sausage. (Best sausage ever!!!!!!!)

Then our friends having goats and telling us how good it would be if we had a goat. And when someone just wanted to get rid of there milk goat and half year old female for $70 we took it.
I remember figuring out how to milk Mary (The milker.) And later having them both get pregnant. And being there to deliver the kids. Both males Mary's white with black on his head and on his back bone. And Princesses all black sept a little white patch on the middle of his head. I'm 12 around this time.

And then over the next two years raising meat chickens, killing them, helping friends kill there meat chickens. The goats have kids again, Mary having twins, boy and girl, daddy promising me for my birthday earlier that the first girl kid was mine. The male was white with black on his head and feet, but Cap, my girl, was all black. Princess had a boy, a pretty bay with white on his head.

Around the biggening of my thirteenth year dad said that he felt that God was calling us to pray about going to Peru. So we did and he lead us to talk about it to one of our friends that had a very close friend who was mobilizing other people for the mission field. Dad and mom talked, met and went to see them in San Antonio. They would teach us and we got ready to move to San Antonio.

And we packed and mom had a baby in nov. And in April we got a apt. in San Antonio and we moved in. I had just turned fourteen the month before. And over the next ten months we had rat problems, flooding five times, birthdays, roach infestation, a couple trips back to Houston and a new year, 2013!!

Now,......... It's March,..... Second,...... My fifteenth birthday!! I guess I can't say happy birthday to my self so I gave you a little history on my life.

So bye, hope you liked it and enjoyed it now that you know a little more about me.

Life

So dad and mom for the last five weeks have been going to a disciple training and they have another week left. I have perspectives reading for the week and another ten weeks of perspectives readings and going to hear men and women that have lived out what there teaching us. I have learned a lot from it and I'm only on lesson five. Every where I turn now I see something about God and his mission. His glory and every time I read in the bible now all goes back to his glory, and the world mission for his glory from the front to back of the bible.  I see now how much of the bible is not about us but the story of his glory.

green leaves in summer,
colorful leaves in fall.
