2.12.13

End of the year and as busy as ever.

Hello, did you miss me? ;)
Well it's been a long month with my little sister's second birthday, thanksgiving, finishing NaNoWriMo, and find out today is the second day of a new month!! And that it's the last month of 2013!!! I was wondering if people were starting to think of new year resolutions over the next month because guys, were so close to a new year. I started thinking over the last year and half, and what I had learned about people and how to reach them. And to add to that, I heard something the other day about how Christ's body spends more time celebrating Christ's birth, than talking about His return.  Many times forgetting if he came to die and wash us of our sins, then he'll come back for those who he has paid for and have been washed by him. And as we move into the end of the year and start buying presents, and start thinking of new year resolutions like, lossing weight, spending more time with our families, and saving more money, and all of that, I think we need to start seeing what we can do to spread the fact that Christ is coming back. And we know not the day nor the hour of his return.
So here are a couple things I'm going to try doing, and you can keep me accountable, or join me if you want. :)

• Praying more! (We many times forget to pray for those in need and just think God can see it, he'll do something!)

• Read the bible more. (Since this is the time of Hannakah, the festival of light. My father has been reading scriptures about light, and Gods word is our light, so shouldn't we read it more?)

• I'm going to try stepping out more and telling others about The Lord. (We get so caught up in things of the world, that the world laughs at us because we don't live what we say we believe. We need to tell people, and if we can't say anything, we need to be able to live it!)

• I want to blog more and tell you what God has done lately.  (We all get busy and forget to encourage others in what he has done. So I'm going to try more to tell others what He's done.)

• I'm going to try doing things that allow God to use me. (My father noticed that God sends people to other countries to be missionary's, doing the same thing they were doing at home. What are you doing that God would send you some where that you could do it some more?)

I know that's only five things, and I have others like get my drivers license, caught up in my school, make some new friends and such. But those five will change your life if you pray for God to do them every morning (or what ever time you get up. ;)). Sometimes it hurts, and when you ask God to help you in a certain spot, it seems he sends even more of it your way! But we have to lean on his grace and remember to ask for it everyday of our life's.

With a full head, I'm off to write another blog post, and talk to my friend about something she starting next year! (If you want to find out about it you can go to twitter and search @graftedmag and you'll see peeks of my friend's idea that will be coming out in the new year!!! And if you want to get her attention, write a short thing about God on twitter and hashtag #wearegrafted!)

Later lovely people,

Two years ago.....

Two years ago my little sister, Roseanne was born into our family.  She has brought life, and joy with it.   She has been a great little addition to the fam, and brings so much life! Never a dull moment, (Unless she's a sleep. ;) )  She's a girl

Emily made Cranberry squares

She enjoys my Latkes, a Hebrew food they eat during Hanukkah.  And tonight is the first day of Hanukkah!

Latkes!! Good with a number of things!

(She's always moving!)

Whip cream on top of hot cocoa, for the cold morning.

Loves looking at books, and pointing at the bright pictures.

Well, time to go and write!
See you later, and have a great Thanksgiving tomorrow!! (Or when ever you see this. ;) )

Home again

So we moved early, on the 26. And have pretty much set up house. Still have boxes on the porch, and office, but other wise pretty much done. (Now to find places for everything, AGAIN!) Can't wait to see some of my friends around here!! But I really can't wait to see my best friend!!

Today I unpacked boxes, arranged the cups from biggest to smallest (yeah I love doing that. Just me. :)) Then I watched Rosie, who is finding that we have a lot more room and a BIG out doors to play with, just every tall grass too, for now! Then I surprised mom with pulling the major big weed out of her garden! So she was happy. Now I'm watching Suzie go to sleep. And wondering it I should go and write some or try getting ready for NaNoWriMo. Or just take a shower because of the scratchy weeds. I think I'll go and pick later.

Bye-bye!

Moving

So I'm like always tired. And yes that's always my main reason why I don't post blog posts. I have to say to other is because I guess I feel I don't have enough support, I never get comments, and no one ever says they read my blog so yeah. Not very encouraging! That and thinking like nothing happens also helps you not really want to write a blog post.

Well other than the fact were moving and moms tiring easily because if the pregnancy, and I'm her right hand man. Dads also giving me driving lessens, so yeah, I'm learning to drive. :)

Well before I really get ready to move on the 27 unless we can pack the uhaul really fast on Saturday, the 26th. I wanted to post some pic of us from the year and half that we've lived here. I don't have a nice camera, all I have is a phone camera, and even then I'm not good. But it shows how we've grown and changed.

Late Birthday & Update

So yeah, miss me?! (Probably not, but hey I'm back anyway!)
So this month we had a couple birthdays, four at the least!
1. My amazing dad turned 55 on the fourteenth!!! He's a strong, Get you to do it, Knows you can do things, and pushes you harder, Encourages you, loves kids, and LOVES talking to people about the Lord!
2. My nephew turned 8, I've been a aunt now for EIGHT years!
3. Richard (One of my many brothers) turned 9 on the twenty second, he's growing up so fast, he's a bit of a bean pole, thin tallish, and seems to be made of skin and bones. He's turning into a big helper, and starting to be a young man.
4. Zachary one of my two older brothers, he turned 25 on the twenty fourth! He's married and has another one of my nephews.

So your asking yourself, what's the update?! Well,..... A little over a year ago we moved to San Antonio, with the Lords leading. I think the Lord was testing us, to see how ready we were to giving up earthly things and follow him. Along with training all of us (Us kids, and my parents.). And now were being lead back to Houston/Tomball.
So yeah, we're moving in like a month!

So other than moving, and all those birthdays, we've only been doing school, and living. But Jonathan did over extented his knee, so we've been doing his chores. But other than momma getting bigger, and life going on, this is all the news we have right now.

Big sister again!!!!

That's from when we drive home in June, guess I it's a little late uh? 😉

I'm back again, did you miss me? ;)

So I was cooking a wonderful dinner of bacon, eggs, and of corse tortillas and cheese!!
Roseanne came into the kitchen and helped me by eating the torn tortilla.

I always laugh when we go shopping and people see how much we get. And we remind them that were feeding seven kids and mum and dad.  But around February we'll have another little sibling. Yeah, my mum is pregnant. I'm sooooooo exited!!!!!!!!! Hopefully I'll get to be there when the little one comes!!!

Other than mummy being pregnant and school starting on Monday I don't have anything to say.

So till another God given day.
Ciao.
(Italian for bye. :))
